It’s officially fall! Do you know what that means here in Florida? Nothing.
Okay so this is seriously one of the best salads I’ve ever made. I saw the fennel in Trader Joe’s and I just impulsively grabbed it. (One of my better impulses this year for sure.)
I know. It’s been a week! I’d like to say I’ve been really busy doing something really interesting but really — I haven’t.
My dad taught me how to make risotto. It is definitely up there with one of my favorite meals. Mostly because cooking with my dad is so much fun. I know a lot of people say “Oh, my dad is great,” but I mean I truly can kick it with pops. We knock back a few Pinot Noir’s and tell overly-animated stories while somehow managing to make perfect risotto every time.
I’ve graduated to lunch in bed. Is that a thing? It is today.
Seriously this is my favorite soup right now. Pasta e fagioli, move over.
I wanted a dressing that extended the reaches of the masterful just-lemon.
